Matt Brauer
Founder Whitetail Rx
Matt was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma — not in a hunting family, but with a curiosity for the outdoors that couldn’t be ignored. At 15, he bought his first bow and taught himself how to hunt, sparking a lifelong pursuit that would evolve from weekend passion into professional calling.
After earning a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University, Matt began building a career in the outdoor industry. He held sales roles with several archery and hunting brands, eventually joining a wildlife nutrition company based in Oklahoma. There, he worked directly with landowners across the Midwest and southern U.S., helping them implement high-quality supplemental feed programs and habitat solutions.
It was in these years — splitting time between guiding hunts and advising ranches — that Matt's love for bowhunting deepened into a broader commitment to whitetail management. He developed a strong belief: that land and herd potential can be unlocked with the right strategy, tools, and stewardship.
Today, Matt leads Whitetail Rx with the mission of helping landowners and hunters elevate their whitetail programs through expert guidance and proven, science-based strategies. In addition to consulting, Whitetail Rx serves as a trusted source for the industry’s most effective products — carefully selected brands and tools that we stand behind through years of field-tested experience. Whether it’s improving habitat, enhancing nutrition, or preparing for the hunt, Whitetail Rx delivers the knowledge and gear serious whitetail managers need to succeed.
